Travel responsible - Sportsman Ethics Respect the rights of others.   – Educate yourself - Always carry a map, water, snacks and dry stick matches with you at all times when ever you are away from camp. Always plan ahead - Sportsman Ethics - Know the area where you plan to hunt or fish.  Stay close and safe.  Always make a camp check list.  Stay on designated roads and trails.  Always treat your firearms as if they were loaded.  Know your target and what is beyond - Sportsman Ethics -  Avoid alcohol, medications and firearms.  They don’t mix well.  Obey all safety rules on land and on water - Sportsman Ethics - Obey all fish and game laws.  Keep your camp site clean at all times.  Know your boating laws.  Responsible ATV use.  Don’t fish or hunt in areas where it is not permitted - Sportsman Ethics - When choosing a hunting or fishing site always consider safety first.  Practice gun safety.  Keep all hunting and fishing knives clean and sharp.  Handle fish and game carefully.  Weather is always a factor - Sportsman EthicsBring along extra clothes.  Stay dry and warm.  Always support conversations.  Use clean sportsman skills - Sportsman Ethics.                         

 

 

The above rules and ethic’s is the way I live life. - Sportsman EthicsThey are simple, don’t need a lot of explanation, they speak for themselves.  As you follow the basic rules, study them, and try to memorize them - Sportsman Ethics - Their just basic rules for everyday life.  Please remember them and add to them as you see fit.  I hope that the above rules will help you as much as they have  given me direction in my life. - Sportsman Ethics.
