Whether you are out camping or back yard grilling, we all love the smell and taste of food that is properly cooked.  We will be sharing with our viewers, camping recipes that have been sent in by our readers.  Here in our kitchens, we will test all recipes before they are added to this page.  We will definitely rate these recipes and also give our opinion.  We are meat and potatoes, however we will post cake recipes from time to time.  If there are any certain camping recipes that you are looking for, please send us an inquiry and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Frank’s Special Rub  (wet)  Recipes

2 cups vinegar
2/3 cup Salad or vegetable oil
½ stick butter (you can't use enough butter)
1 cup tomato sauce                                                                                    
Juice from 1 lemon to taste
1 tsp dry mustard
¼ tbs cloves
 1 tbs ground cinnamon (taste, if you want more than add)
1 tsp Cayenne Pepper or Chipote (Try 1/2 tsp of each)
Place all ingredients in a pot, bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
Baste on your ribs the last 20 minutes of cooking time.

Frank's Special dry rub: Recipes

If you are looking for a good dry rub that you can use on your pork Spareribs Well, this is it. I have friends that use this rub on all foods from eggs to baked beans as well as pork, venison, beef and chicken.  This is my special recipes.

1 Table spoon of the following: Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Black Pepper (Coarse Ground) Koser Salt. Chili Powder, Brown Sugar, Paprika (Optional) along with 2 table spoons of Ground Cinamon in  to 2 cups of Sugar.  Mix thoroughly.  Refrigerate at  least 30 minutes before using so that all the spices will be incorporated.  Don't worry, Its hard to over spice your ribs.

 COW BOY BEANS Recipes

  1 pound Hamburger
½ red peppers (diced)
½ green peppers (diced)
1 white onion (diced)
2 – 16ounce cans of pinto beans in chili sauce
2 – Strips of bacon (cut into 1 inch piece
      Salt and Pepper to taste
1 – Clove garlic (finely chopped)
1 – Teaspoon cinnamon powder
In a 4 quart pot, add the onions, garlic and hamburger.  Cook over medium heat.  When the meat is almost cooked, add the pinto beans, and the remaining ingredients.  Cook over low heat for approximately 1 hour or until the beans are done.
